Kris Colt is a uniquely American Celtic vocal artist, who brings with her the historical tradition of the Bardic Storyteller. Weaving her successfully radio charted originals, Kris Colt will lead you through an evening of the most beloved Irish and Scottish classics as well as the sassy fun filled, upbeat pub tunes that get you stomping and singing along.  

 
Kris is also an accomplished songwriter—both lyricist and composer—whose debut CD entitled

THE VOYAGE, A MYSTICAL JOURNEY, is distributed by New York’s Dara Records. Selections from The Voyage received national airplay across the United States and Canada and reached #26 on NAV national music chart.

Colt’s single, ARMS OF A STRANGER, from her most recent CD has received acclaim on national commercial radio, with selections currently being played in Ireland. As a recording artist, she has been charted in The European CMA Top 100 Jan. 2013 for the sexy duet Somebody’s Knockin.

Kris had the honor of being one of five finalists chosen for Irish Woman of the Year, and  had a sure thrill being shown on National television singing in the traditional Sean-nós style her rendition of the honorary Irish National Anthem Danny Boy right there in the middle of the Grand Hall of L.A. City Hall.
